In this day and age, anytime we have an idea or need an idea, there is always one trusty place to turn to for help... Pinterest! I myself am guilty of using Pinterest for almost anything. Food ideas, workouts, outfits, gifts, quotes, and even planning my wedding. Yep! That is right! I use Pinterest to help plan my wedding, and even though I'm not even engaged, it is still so much fun.

If you're guilty of this also, here are 13 things you've definitely pinned as a Pinterest wedding planner!

1. Rings!

Is it true that diamonds are a girl's best friend? When in the shape of a ring absolutely! It is almost every girl's dream to have her one true love get down on one knee and ask her THE question with a sparkly ring in their hand.

2. Dresses

There is absolutely no way somebody can go 20 some years without having to look at a wedding dress just out of curiosity to see what you like. Luckily, Pinterest is the perfect place to search for all kinds of dresses until you can find the perfect dress for the perfect night.

3. Engagement pictures

Engagement pictures are one of my absolute favorite things to look at! I am continuously brainstorming unique and fun ideas for when it becomes my turn. Not to mention that Pinterest has all the unique goods. No matter the season, color, theme, you can pin it all.

4. Wedding pictures

Quotes

I personally would have no idea what to say in my vows, besides the traditional ones, so it is fun to look at cute quotes, verses, and sayings to possibly come up with your own.

6. Flowers

Flowers can be crazy expensive, especially for a whole wedding, and any way to budget while still having the million dollar look is what everyone hopes for. Believe it or not, I have actually seen some pretty amazing flower arrangements from fake flowers too!

7. Cakes!

Every time I look through different pictures of cakes, I am just blown away by how much of an art they are! And all the flavors, colors, and designs to choose from... Well, let's just say I may have multiple cakes at my wedding. Thanks, Pinterest.

8. Reception decor

Weddings are indoors, outdoors, in barns, on the beach, in the backyard, you can basically have your reception almost anywhere. The toughest part about receptions is all the decorations. In my case, I know I have to have that place decked out! But not everyone does. I've been to weddings where there where only strings of lights hanging up, and it was absolutely gorgeous! I have pinned so many things for centerpieces, tables, chairs, bridal table, even the food table!

9. Proposal ideas

Although we do not get to plan our own perfect proposal... It is still fun to look, and along the way maybe throw some hints out there on what you'd like, you know just general stuff. What's it going to hurt?

10. Colors!

It might seem so simple to just choose a color or two and be done with it for your wedding, but don't underestimate the power of Pinterest. They will make you re-think your whole idea of every single color from stitch to stitch.

11. Bridal party wear

Once you've chosen the colors, it should be pretty simple to find bridal party wear, for the gentlemen at least... When it comes to bridesmaids, you have to take into consideration everyone's body type, size, how it will look with shoes, can they dance in it... It might be just as important as finding your own dress!

12. The send-off

Most people like to have a fun send-off either before or after the reception as a celebratory "we did the damn thing!" I can't decide between bubbles, confetti, or sparklers. But, whichever you choose, the pictures will be adorable with all the most important people forming an aisle and you and your somebody laughing as you stroll through!

13. Music

Music can honestly make or break your reception. Every time I have been to a wedding there are two things I hear people talk about, and that is food and music. So if you're like me, and love music, you have probably pinned many songs form the first dance, all the way to the cupid shuffle.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
