No one has seen or loves Planes, Trains, and Automobiles as much as I do. This movie has become a family tradition in my house. A classic for several reasons, it's a shame that more of those in my generation probably haven't seen this great movie. Here is why you should definitely check out this Thanksgiving movie and how relatable it is to a college students life!
Every college student has experienced that one person they have to tolerate for the sake of their future. Here's 12 reasons why this movie is so relatable:
1. When you realize you haven't done laundry in a while, and you need to take some drastic measures to get by.
2. When you meet that one person who always makes you feel uncomfortable because they remember you, but you don't remember them.
3. There is always that one person you will meet at school who doesn't have a "good nature." If you find them, don't try to change them, and just keep them out of your life. They don't deserve to talk to you.
4. When you try to call your parents to break some hard news to them.
5. When you have a busy week at school and you're just done with everything and everyone.
6. When you are trying to get a taxi back to campus from a party, and everyone from school is fighting for one. Take off those heels, ladies, and run, Forest, run! (Throwback to Halloween weekend)
7. When your professor schedules another 15 page paper due tomorrow that they never mentioned before. It's going to be a long night.
8. When your professor just keeps rambling about nothing and you got another class you need to sprint across campus to get to.
9. When it starts to get cold out, and you realize you never bought a coat to school with you. Do we really need to go to class? Layer up everyone!
10. At the end of the semester when you realize you are screwed and all you can do is laugh about it.
11. When someone doesn't appreciate you for who you are, who needs them anyway, right?! "I like me!"
12. When you are broke so you can only afford the mini bottles of liquor. It's better than nothing. Cheers to the end of the semester, and pinkies up!
