Being the third wheel is a serious thing. We are constantly put in an awkward position whether it's good or bad. I have many friendships where two of them are dating and I'm stuck being the third wheel just sitting there watching them. There are many places where it's the absolute worst place to be a third wheel because you feel completely weird.

1. The movies

You're sitting there munching on your popcorn enjoying the movie and then you turn to your friends to discuss an intense scene, and there they are - making out - not even paying attention.

2. Someone's house

You guys decide to chill at someone's house but you can't seem to do anything because your friends get pretty distracted.

3. A party

Not always the best idea to drag a couple to a party because they usually end up in their own corner doing their own thing thinking you'll have someone else to talk to.

4. The car

Whether you're sharing a cab squished in the back seat, or sitting in the back while the two of them talk it out in the front, you constantly end up sitting there staring at the window in silence.

5. Restaurants

Sometimes, SOMETIMES, restaurants are a safe space for third wheeling. But usually they're a spot for a couple to end up having an unplanned date.
