How can someone or something make us feel this way? How can one person or situation make everything around us drop from rainbows to black and grey? It hurts, it really hurts. The truth hurts. What we don't want to hear hurts. What we don't wanna see hurts. When everything goes on with or without you, that hurts.
Do you know the feeling I'm talking about? That pit in your stomach. That feeling when you see something you don't want to see. The reaction your body has when you're caught off guard. The chill of needles mildly shocking your body and then something in your stomach drops. You're filled with this emotion that overtakes your body, and it can last anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 hours and so on.

How does one guy turn you like this? How can you look at him and have everything around you become blurred? How can he control that pit in your stomach? Transforming it from butterflies to your stomach turning upside down, at his own convenience. How do we let someone do that? Why did he choose her?
It isn't just a relationship that can create this spiteful feeling. It is anxiety from not knowing whats going on. You get the pit in your stomach when you messed up. It comes around when something bad happened. It creeps on you when you failed, or feel like a failure. We all feel it. Whether we handle things differently or not, deep down you can hide the stomach turning feeling, but you still feel it.
Maybe it is that wrath lingering around inside you. That pit in your stomach. Whenever something happens and you are caught off guard you always think, "I just got a bad pit in my stomach." Just like a pitted fruit. You are the soft, perfect fruit and in the middle lies the hard core dark pit, stuck. What caused this? Perhaps someone did better than you. Or, you saw/heard something you didn't want to see/hear. The feeling of "I'm gonna be sick" or "I have a huge knot in my stomach". Something so major, so dramatic and real just happened for you to get such a "deadly" feeling.
It is frustration, that's what it is. It is so frustrating to comprehend why things happen the way they do, we all know that. Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do people get to come and go as they please? Why is this all happening around all of us, every second of everyday, whether we are ready or not? Why do we sit there with the feeling of this knot in our stomach turning and twisting while life and everyone goes on.
As much as I want to say the pit in your stomach should be irrelevant, it is uncontrollable. It shows you have reaction to something. That knot, that pit in your stomach is the worst feeling to get. You never realize you are going to get it until it feels like everything just rearranged in your body. A control over our body we have no control over.
