"Being single means you're strong enough to wait for what you deserve." ~Niall Horan

Single. Alone. Not in a relationship. There are so many ways to say it but how would you describe it? Sad, lonely... comforting? Yes, I said comforting. You don't need a man to be comfortable with your life and who you are. So, here's to the single girls who hate being single. I have some words of encouragement for you.

Don't settle.

Settling is like ordering a plain coffee when you want an Iced Caramel Macchiato. Don't settle. Ever. There is a guy out there that is going to come into your life when you least expect it and sweep you off your little feet.

Your success is more important than a man.

Single and success both start with S for a reason, my dears. If being with a man is the key to your success, go for it! But, if they drag you down, drop him ASAP. You are better than that. You are stronger than that.

Take time for yourself.

After a breakup taking time for yourself is essential. You need time to remember who you are and what you do best. Painting, yoga, writing, coloring or napping. Do what helps you become a better you. Boys can wait, your mental and physical health can not.

Don't rush into your next relationship.

Again, breakups are hard and you need time to get yourself back to where you were before you got into that relationship. Rebound relationships usually end quickly and can be very toxic. It's better to take an extra amount of time alone than to jump into a relationship that you're not fully prepared to be in.

You'll know when you're ready.

With all the advice above, you'll know when you're ready to be in a relationship. Nothing can stop you, but know that there is a right time for everything. You deserve to be happy but you shouldn't force it or rush it. Trust your gut, but don't rush into it.

Good luck my single friends.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
