Why do you need to play Christmas music in November?
There are just some things about the Christmas season that start way too early. I like to think of it as two different people. There's one that's ready for Christmas when November 1st starts and the other type (like me) that waits until December 1st for everything Christmas.
1. Christmas Music
93.3 The Drive
So many people start listening to Christmas music the first day in November. Really? It's still Turkey season… chill. (Pun intended.) I want to hear Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas" as few times as possible.
2. Getting a Christmas Tree
The Independent
I don't know what it is with people getting Christmas trees earlier and earlier but I think waiting the day after Thanksgiving is still really early. Maybe the first week in December but there's actually people out there who finish their turkey and go and get a tree.
3. Decorating For Christmas
Homedit
Now I understand this one a little more for doing it in November because no one wants to be putting up lights outside when it's freezing out. I mean yeah put up the lights outside but the people that actually light up their lights before Thanksgiving are a totally different breed.
4. Christmas Movies That Are Released
google.com
Netflix has so many new Christmas movies that come out in the middle to end of November before Thanksgiving, and not to mention the movies that come out in theaters. The movie theaters usually wait until December but the new Grinch movie came out on November 9th of this year.
5. Posting Of Pictures Of New York City
EuroCheapo
I've already seen on my Facebook timeline a few people posting about how they want to go to New York City during Christmas at Least once in their life. I mean who doesn't?
I actually really like the Christmas season and looking at the Christmas lights around the city and don't get me wrong I love all the Christmas cookies and all the decorations and what not but the Christmas music and the early decorating just get me every time.
