5 Perks Of Being A Student Barista As Told By 'Gilmore Girls'

Although being a full-time student and part-time employee can be strenuous and make me want to pull my hair out, there are perks to working at coffee shop as a college student. As told by some of my favorite coffee lovers, the Gilmore Girls:

1. Working at a coffee shop opens the doors (literally and figuratively) to a place to hangout and see people you know, whether fellow baristas or customers


2. Usually free Internet is available to use for surfing the web and doing homework


3. There's no such thing as being hungry because coffee shops are often known for their baked goods and even small appetizers available for customers


4. It provides comfy couches to sit and catch up on homework...or sleep


5. And last, but certainly not least, there's coffee!


What more could be said? As a college student, there are some nights I have to stay up late finishing projects and end up tired the next morning. But alas, coffee saves the day!
