When it comes to matching, we can really take it to the next level. I have two perfect examples that I'm dying to share. Four dear friends of mine have offered their Fashionista/o ways in order for me to elaborate on how to come up with the perfect pairs. Being able to show the beauty that comes with each pair is an honor and a blessing. These two pairs have both influenced my fashion and who I am as a person.
The first pair, Mariah and Andrew, have been dating for more than two years. The two knew of each other throughout high school, and finally kindling their love all because of one trip to their alma mater. Needless to say, they have been together ever since. Now, both being seniors in college, they have taken their relationship to higher grounds when Mariah had decided to study abroad her second semester as a junior. Being away obviously was not easy for both, but coming back made it all the more worthwhile. Andrew, always being a man of many clothes, has always presented himself with the latest trends and the best deals around. Andrew's fashion is a direct representation of what type of person he is: clean, smart and sophisticated and a hidden desire to have fun along the way. Mariah, being a fun and flirty girl has always been excited to show off a nice dress and some cute shoes to complement her already beautiful complexion and personality. Both coming from two different realms of fashion, they have grown together not only personally, but in style. Even when they don't plan on matching, there is always something that ties them together into one bold and beautiful pair.
The next pair are a couple of best friends, ready to take on the world. Steven and Kelly take each stride with strength and grace. Both have been friends since the beginning of their freshman year, they have not strayed away from each other when classes got harder and they became busier. They made time for each other as well as kept in contact when the magical world of college got too fast-paced for the both of them. Kelly, being from Chicago would spend summers away from her second home here in Cleveland. Steven, residing in the suburb of Westlake, spends his time singing, dancing and cooking. These two never fail to get a good laugh out and are always bouncing fun jokes off of each other. Steven’s style represents his adventurous and artistic characteristics while Kelly’s fashion portrays that she won’t take any garbage from anyone; it’s all in the attitude. With such ying and yang in their friendship, Kelly and Steven balance each other out in fashion and in person. You’ll get a taste of everything when you’re around them.
