GIFs are a wonderful thing, as proved by my article on the perfect Cardi B GIF for every occasion. They can even be used to express all of the anxieties, doubts and promising aspects of nearing the end of your college journey. My struggle with staying positive and hopeful in the face of Graduation has definitely been helped by a steady stream of funny GIFs to get me through my most stressful moments. Therefore, I present you with a curated list of all of the best GIFs to accompany the pre-graduation nuclear bomb that is about to blow up inside of you.

1. Anxiety.

Whether you are procrastinating one of those final papers, losing yourself in the drudge of job listing sites or simply stressing what life might be like beyond college, this GIF nails it. You might be surprised to find this GIF is actually footage of me at the end of every semester knowing graduation is only growing nearer.

2. EXTREME LEVELS OF JOY.

Warning: The closer you get to graduation two things will happen. You will absolutely develop senioritis and you will also frequently fantasize about a life free from writing papers and taking finals. I can't promise your head will float through space like Nic, but you will be so happy you won't even be able to tell.

3. Freedom.

Sweet, sweet freedom. You'll finally feel it. Free from homework, lectures and all of the other bullshit that accompanies college-life. Spoiler alert: you will not be free from bills and adult responsibilities, but who cares?! NO MORE CLASSES.

4. Broke AF.

So, you're graduating (AMAZING) but you also have no job and are drowning in student loans so prepare to be seriously broke. Living expense checks will now become a thing of the past and you'll have to actually have to pay back for the education you're so damn proud of. Basically what I'm trying to tell you, Jennifer, is no, I'm not ready for a "Vegas weekend".

5. Hopeful.

Best believe you will be down on your hands and knees praying for a good job, sick letters of recommendation and the ability to survive in the vicious world of post-college life. This part will take a lot out of you, but as long as you stay positive you're likely to walk away only a little bit bruised.

6. Immense Pride.

Mostly what you'll be thinking of as you get closer to graduation (aside from HOLY SHIT!) is something like "Damn, I DID that." Now when people try to call you a lazy millennial, you can say "I'm a lazy millennial with a degree Aunt Sharon, you old bitch."

I wholeheartedly hope that this article has proved to you that you are not alone in your pre-graduation stressing and obnoxious levels of excitement, also that GIFs are truly one of the finest ways to sum up your complex emotions into a few seconds.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
