The Perfect Christian Songs For Every Mood You're In

Our emotions always change, yet no matter what it may be it's important to recognize wherever we are in our walk, our purpose never changes: praising and glorifying The Man Upstairs.

God's creation of music fascinates me. Just the fact that a progression of 4 chords can create such a beautiful tune, and a human voice can provoke such powerful emotion is absolutely amazing. God created us to be instruments who can sing and dance, play and hum, shout and tune, all to worship and glorify Him. Music as a way of worship has been here forever, even the good ole days back in Bible. The book of Psalms contains a plethora of hymns or songs of praise for God's work, and there is even a whole book dedicated to songs called Songs of Solomon! Psalms 95:1 tells us, "Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!", and Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:18-19 tells us to "be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart".

Every day we face something new and we experience different things. Have you ever felt so stressed or so frustrated with everything that the anxiety just builds up and your emotions become this uncontrollable wildfire? Have you ever felt so lost, so afraid, so lonely, almost like you're a diminishing fire losing all its fuel, questioning God's guidance or existence? What about that time when you accomplished something that you never would have expected to, or overcame a battle that took every single part of your heart, and you're just standing there in absolute wonder and awe. Our emotions evidently always change, yet no matter what they may be it's important to recognize that our purpose does not change: worshiping our Father. He is good, He is perfect. Whatever we are going through let us be reminded that everything is for His Glory and His praise, for all the things he's done for us.

So here is a list of Christian songs perfect for whatever mood you're in, just to remind you of what's most important:

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
