It's very clear that people are starting to take notice of Bernie Sanders.

If you aren't sure who he is, here's a little bit about him. Sanders marched for civil rights while he was in college and has been consistent in his views on gay marriage, racial inequality and women's rights. Sanders was born to Jewish parents, and identifies as Jewish though more culturally. He is "anti-bible" thumper.

Sanders may have a lot of support when it comes to the online internet sphere, if he wants to stand a chance at taking a run for the Democratic nominee then he must gain support in the real world as well. And it's starting to look like he is getting just that. Sanders just overtook Clinton in Iowa- a sign that people certainly are starting to get behind him.

While Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders may now hold many of the same views, it hasn't always been that way. Clinton has flip-flopped on the issues of both gay marriage and immigration. Throughout the years Sanders has remained strong in his views, which is what American might just need.

Sanders has long been unafraid of speaking up for what he believes in. Below is a timeline of the agenda that Sanders has in store for America:
