Pennsylvania Colleges If They Were 2016 Presidential Candidates

This seems a little too comparable...

Now that the 2016 presidential election is over, we can all finally breathe a little bit (emphasis on a little bit.) This was by far one of the most stressful elections the American people have ever experienced, with some of the most diverse candidates we've ever seen. Well, that's America, and what state better represents our country than good 'ole Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is filled with a rich history and some pretty prestigious state colleges. So in light of it all, let's look at how some of those presidential candidates match up with the PA state schools.

Temple University- Bernie Sanders

You're known for doing your own thing. You don't really care what anyone thinks and you don't let anything stop you. Sure, you can be a little over passionate about what you believe in at times, but then you wouldn't be Temple. You're a free spirit, and you'll always say whatever the heck is on your mind. You're for the people, and you're pretty genuine people yourselves.

Penn State University- Donald Trump

You're rich with history and well respected by about half of us. The other half hate you, either for a good reason or just hate you just because of who you are. And you can be a little wild sometimes. As smart as you are, you do some pretty dumb things. But at the end of the day, we all look up to you. But maybe that's just cause we have to.

Kutztown University- Gary Johnson

You're a unique brand and you own that. You could really care less if people don't like you, you just do you. You stand up for what you believe in, and you have a pretty unique style compared to the rest of us. You don't try to be anything that you're not, even if it makes you look bad sometimes. Keep being your own unique brand Kutztown.

West Chester University- Ted Cruz

We can't really figure you out. It's not that you're fake, just a little hard to decipher. Are you a party school? All about your grades? What are you guys doing up there? Either way, you have a pretty goofy personality, whether intentional or not, and that makes you entertaining. Some people might think you're annoying, but most just find you entertaining. You're just a little off sometimes, but we still like you.

Bloomsburg University- Hillary Clinton

You have a pretty bad reputation, but you're not a bad person. You care about people and only want what's best for everyone. You just want everyone to have a good time together. You might be a little off the beaten track but you know what you want and you're willing to work to get it.

Drexel University- Marco Rubio

You're kind of in the background because Temple is considered the Philly school. You're just the baby of the city, but maybe you'll get the big city reputation one day. For now, we just treat you like the baby. The big, smart baby.

Millersville University- Jill Stein

People should really pay more attention to you. You're really smart and you have a ton of potential. But you kind of just happen in the background. Poor Millersville, we hope you're having fun out there.

Slippery Rock University- Evan McMullin

soo who are you... you're an independent, I guess, that's who. We never really hear of you, or have heard of you at all for that matter. But you do pretty well considering you're all on your own. Keep bein' a damn independent slippery rock.

Harvard University- Harambe

And hey, let's just throw this guy in here considering he got more votes than some of these people. You're not really supposed to be on this list, but we'll just include you because you're legendary.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
