Earlier this year I happened to come across a "Studyblr" Instagram profile, a page that is dedicated to studying tips and unrealistically fancy lettering for class notes. One of the posts happened to talk about a planner with a format that I haven’t seen before. The Passion Planner caught my eye. Having used planners in the past, I found that none of them truly allowed me to write down everything I needed to do in my day, and as a full-time college student who also used to work 25 hours a week, this was frustrating.

I would not have the room in my previous planners to write down all my homework as well as other activities I would be doing that day. My notes would overflow into the next day, and sometimes, they would be pushed off until the end of the week. I knew I needed a planner with a different format by the time the next school year came around, and luckily, I came across Passion Planner.

I love how Passion Planner allows me to break down my day into time intervals, so I can fit all of my activities into that day’s block only. Instead of giving you a single block to write about your day, this planner broke down each day into 30-minute time slots starting at 6 a.m. and ending at 10:30 p.m.

What I also found interesting about this planner was that it also contains space to write your separate personal and work to-do lists, including the "Space of Infinite Possibility," a blank space where you can write tips to help you succeed and keep organized by listing your homework, grocery list and even your water count!

On the sidelines, there are blocks where you can write your focus or main event of the week. There's also a block in which you can write either one or several good things that have happened so far in the week. Below is a motivational quote that changes each week! This is something I have not seen in many planners.

Even though I am no longer working, my coursework at school has become more difficult to manage now that I'm nearing the end of my college career. On top of that, I want to be more involved at my college campus, so that means factoring in my executive board duties. With the Passion Planner, I am able to write down my class times and my extracurricular meeting times in an organized space already outlined for me. Plus, I absolutely love decorating the pages each week with my Paper Mate Flair pens, which I bought specifically for my planner.

I have a bad habit of procrastinating at times, but now that I am finally able to see when I have to do something, I will never miss another deadline — whether it is schoolwork or an Odyssey article!

I want to truly thank the creator, CEO of Passion Planner Angelia Trinidad, for creating a planner that truly takes everyone with a busy schedule into consideration. Whether you're a student, teacher, architect or any other professional, Passion Planner is customizable for your needs and will help you achieve your life goals.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
