11 Reasons Jerry Gergich From 'Parks And Rec' Is A Wonderful Human, Don't @ Me

In This Article:

Everyone always rips on Jerry Gergich, the infamous character from "Parks and Rec." Or is it Gary Gergich? Jarry Gergich? It doesn't really matter. But, he's actually one of the best characters if you really think about it. He's just a happy person (he might be a little too happy) but he's happy and cares about all his coworkers, even when they aren't the nicest to him.

He always tries his best.

But making jokes is definitely not his forte. Especially jokes Tom writes.

He's a mess, but no one is perfect.

Giphy

He spills food all the time but, honestly, don't we all?

He's always happy to see his coworkers.

Giphy

He's almost always happy and just loves being included.

He is willing to help with anything.

Giphy

Even if that means reenacting a pie crime and getting pie in the face over and over again.

He knows how to have a good time.

Giphy

Even if he might be a little embarrassing to watch.

He's a great artist!

Giphy

This man bleeds creativity I'm pretty sure. He can make even the mundane into something beautiful.

He has some great ideas.

Giphy

Comic Sans always screams "fun" with an "ny" at the end.

He always has his facts straight.

Giphy

He can help you figure out things and will always have your back.

He loves when everyone gets his name right.

Giphy

I mean he doesn't mind when someone calls him the wrong name and honestly only the best people can handle that.

He doesn't mind getting dragged along to literally anything.

Giphy

And he is always optimistic no matter what.

You can trust him with anything.

Giphy

He's hard working and reliable, which is all anyone really wants.

Not everyone knows how wonderful Larry is.

Giphy

But Donna and Ben do and honestly Larry and Donna have a cute friendship.

He had greatness thrust upon him, but that's OK.

Giphy

Garry ended up being a great mayor even after only being voluntold to take the position.

He's so optimistic and sees the beauty in everything.

Giphy

Even when things go sour, he can somehow see the good in literally anything.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
