Everyone's friend group has that one really goofy, crazy, and weird friend. And if you don't think that your friend group has one, chances are, it is probably you. But no worries, the goofball friend has the most fun. We get super excited about the little things and are always ready to accept a dare. We are constantly ready to rise to the occasion. Although we enjoy being the center of attention, we also always love to make your friends smile and laugh. So here is why being the goofy friend is definitely the best type of friend to be.
1. We are never afraid of a fun challenge and we definitely won't back down from a dare.
The goofy friend doesn't like to be seen as a coward. Even if we are completely and utterly petrified, there is a 99 percent chance that we are up for whatever is thrown our way.
2. We don't have a whole lot of shame.
And that isn't to say that we aren't modest. But we don't mind going the extra mile. We are never afraid of being embarrassed and we aren't totally sure what "blushing" is. Doing something stupid is basically second nature to us, and shame is pretty much a very unfamiliar feeling.
3. We love to laugh at ourselves.
To be this goofy, we have to be able to laugh at ourselves. That is to say, our quadruple-chin picture is definitely going on our Snapchat story. We love to make others laugh and would do anything to put a smile on someone's face. Even if that means the butt of the joke is directed at us.
4. Most things are a joke.
We know when to take things seriously, but most everything else in our lives is just another need for comic relief. Anything can be turned into an opportunity for a joke, and you can bet we will figure out how.
5. We don't mind being at the center of attention.
"Don't mind" was an understatement. We LOVE being the center of attention. But again, we do it mostly to make others laugh. And also, because we love to be the center of attention.
6. We are hard to miss.
Yeah, maybe if you haven't seen us in a week, you don't miss us. But you can definitely spot us in a crowd. We are the ones being complete idiots.
7. We love to make others laugh.
This is our most important feature. We need laughter to live. Goofy people love to laugh in general. Yet nothing warms our hearts quite like the laughter of others. We will go the distance to make someone giggle.
8. We get frustrated when others are ashamed of our humor and it upsets us when people try to control our bubbly and silly personalities.
Sometimes it is hard for us when people don't quite understand our personalities. We genuinely love the way we are. We love how passionate we are about being true to ourselves, and sometimes people don't see that we just enjoy being a little goofy. It can be frustrating when we feel like our joy is squashed because other people are embarrassed or ashamed of our sense of humor. Being a fun-loving goofball can be hard when others try to confine and contain your enthusiasm for life.
9. We wouldn't change a thing.
Even though it can be hard being so darn fun, we wouldn't change a thing. Being a little crazy and having a couple of screws loose can make for some really exciting and wonderful memories. Nothing can hold us back and we can't wait to see what other adventures lie ahead.
