As you may already know, from my past articles, I love the TV show "One Tree Hill." It's a show that has a lot of meaning to me. This week's article is on some of my favorite Julian Baker quotes.

If you are a true "OTH" fan, you know that we meet Julian at the end of season six.

On being happy with your life:

"I feel like people get lost when they think of happiness as a destination. We always think that someday we'll be happy. When we get that car or that job or that person in our lives who will fix everything. But happiness is a mood and it's a condition. Not a destination. It's like being tired or hungry. It's not permanent. It comes and goes and that's OK. And if people would think that way, they'd find happiness more often."

On life's disappointments:

"Sometimes the beauty is in the attempt."

When Brooke found out what kind of actress he was looking for to play her part in the movie:

Character Brooke Davis Description:

"Funny. Intelligent. King-hearted. Strong-headed. Simple. Complicated. Motherly. Tough. Childish. Sensitive. Beautiful. Way cooler than she was in high school."

Julian: "That girl has been nearly impossible to find but worth every second of the wait."

Brooke: "Are you gonna make sure Missy knows this?"

Julian: "I'm gonna make sure everybody knows."

On finding the person you were meant to spend your life with:

"It wasn't really about the girl. It was about the idea of someone out there for me. So I kept this half bumper-car token ever since as a reminder that somewhere out there, if I'm lucky, is my other half."

The real reason he came to Tree Hill:

"When I first got here, everyone thought I came for a girl. The girl in the book. But I only came here to make a movie. But now it turns out everyone was right. I am here for the girl in the book. The other girl."

On where Brooke ended up:

"I'm proud of you, too. Those nights you were trying to figure out who you were gonna be? However you got there, whatever it took, you made it. And I'm so in love with the girl you became."

When Brooke had doubts about being with him he said:

"You're the girl I love with all my heart and and I'm the boy who's gonna be with you forever."

When he fell in love with Brooke:

"You want to know what I think? I think you do love me -- or could love me -- but you're just too stubborn and scared to admit it because the last time you really gave your heart to someone it got broken. And I get that. I've been there. But somewhere along the line you gave up on the idea that you deserve to feel this way again. But you don't see what I see, Brooke. You deserve this."

When he proposed to Brooke:

"Everyone says that the next thing I do, the next choice I make is going to define me, my career, my life. Well, the next thing I want to do is ask you to be my wife. And tell you how much I love you and how nothing else matters. When I look into your eyes, Brooke, I see the rest of my life, and I see it with you. Marry me, Brooke Davis."

On why he loves Brooke Davis (I mean how can you not love Brooke Davis?!):

"Brooke, before I met you, I thought I had everything I needed to be happy. I had nothing else to compare it too. But then you walked into my life, and everything changed. I realized how empty my world was without you in it. And my old life was no longer capable of making me happy. I love everything about you Brooke. I love the way you challenge me like no one ever has. I love the way you look at me like no one ever has. And I love the way you love me, like no one ever has. I can't imagine spending my life without you. And if you say yes in a few minutes, I won't have to."

On believing in justice:

"I need to believe that there's still justice, that even now, in a world full of grey and spin and compromise, that if you choose to do wrong, and you prey on good people someone will stand up to you and fight back."

His final quote:
