I am a big fan of any clothes that are cute and cheap. There are many websites out there where you can order clothing from China or other places around the world where the clothing is extremely inexpensive. I'm talking $10 dresses, $8 shirts, $14 jeans and so much more! It's great but as one can probably imagine for such a low price sometimes the quality of the clothing isn't that great and you aren't exactly getting what you thought you were. Because of this I decided to try this out myself. I ordered several things from a Chinese clothing website called Romwe. Here are my results of what I ordered.
Black V Neck Short Sleeve Asymmetrical Bodycon Dress
This body con dress was kind of what I expected for $10. The material wasn't that great, in fact it was a little thin, and it showed a little more cleavage than I was comfortable with but all in all it was pretty decent. It was sewn together well and didn't feel like if I moved it would rip. I could definitely wear this dress in public without worrying about if it would rip on me. The material may have felt thin but it wasn't see through which was a plus. I'd give this dress a 7/10.
Deep V Neck Ruffle Bow Romper
This romper was the worst quality of everything I ordered. The torso of the romper was way too small for me while the sleeves were too big. It rode up way too much and the fabric was paper thin. Not to mention that as soon as I put it on the right shoulder ripped into a huge hole. I was really disappointed with this one because it had potential to be SO cute. I give this romper a 2/10.
Deep V Neck Long Sleeve Lace Bodycon Dress
This dress was so cute on, the only problem was it was SO short. I definitely couldn't wear this in public unless I wore a body con skirt underneath it or leggings. The upper body of this dress was also way too big compared to the length of it so it didn't really match up. I did like that this dress had a decent quality slip underneath it and that the lace was fairly quality. I could more than likely make this dress work with some other pieces of clothing and accessories so I'll give this one a 5/10.
Apricot Half Sleeve Deep V Neck Vintage Print Playsuit
THIS ROMPER THOUGH!!! I love this romper. It fits me so well and it is so cute. The material is perfect for summer, the lace is quality and so is the fabric. It's not see through and it is way better than I expected it would be. This romper is one of my favorite pieces I bought this summer so I definitely give it a 10/10.
Halter Open Back Knotted Romper
This romper was a mess to say the least. The color looked nothing like the picture on the website and neither did the product. It came as weird flowy shorts with two super long sashes attached to the back of the shorts. I assumed I was supposed to somehow wrap the sashes around myself to make the romper look like the picture, which I tried to do but failed miserably at. The shorts part of the romper was too short anyway. This romper was absolutely impossible to wear and took my best friend and I about 15 minutes to figure out how to even wear and I'm still not sure we even did it right. This romper gets a 0/10 because I don't think anyone could wear it.
The clothes I ordered were very hit or miss and I had a couple of hits which I'm happy with and the clothes that didn't work out gave me a good laugh so it ended up being okay. Everyone should definitely be careful when ordering from inexpensive international clothing websites because there are many other websites where people have had problems similar to these with not receiving the product they paid for. In the future I will be way more careful when ordering from sites like this one!
