We’ve been through everything together. You’ve seen me at my best, and you’ve seen me at my worst. You’ve always been there to give me tough love when I need it. I’ve never had a friendship so effortless. You are more me than I am. You understand me. You know exactly what I need without me having to say anything. You’re genuine, loving, and kind.

There’s a certain kind of beauty to a friendship like ours that is too magnificent to name. You’re the kindest person I’ve ever known. Your heart is so whole and large, filled to the brim with compassion for others. I will never be able to adequately express your magnificence or grace. You are a beacon of hope. Your work ethic outshines everyone around you. You are too hard on yourself. You are a work of art; a person so complex and interesting that I cannot fathom why you are friends with me sometimes. I feel small next to you, as though I pale in comparison. But I also feel large. Complete. My life, without you, would be insufficient. Even if I had every single luxury that I often find myself wishing for. Without you, there would always be a hole in my heart.

You deserve the very best. There have been many nights where you have sat up with me as I struggle through every hurdle in my life. For that, I cannot thank you enough. You brighten every single dull moment and you make me smile even when I feel as though I will never smile again. You make me laugh until my sides ache over the smallest things, and you've taught me to appreciate the smaller things in life. You are my favorite adventuring partner, anything with you can be considered an adventure. Even a 6 o'clock p.m. run to Walmart with you is a memory worth looking back upon. You have taught me what it means to love someone unconditionally. You've shown me how to love someone, even when they are hard to love. I could live a hundred lifetimes and never deserve someone like you. Every memory that I have with you is precious. Every laughter-filled day, every tear-soaked night, every idle afternoon with you has been crucial to who I am today. You have shaped me and molded me into a far, far better person than I was before we met. Every wonderful trait of yours inspires me to be a better person, and I can only ever hope to be half of the person that you are.
