Well, you made it to higher education. Maybe your parents made you go, maybe you wanted it for yourself, maybe you’re there for a surprisingly common reason: to find a husband…
If for whatever reason, you’re wondering what it is you are doing with yourself in college, please keep reading.
Firstly, if you are just going for your MRS degree, you need to reevaluate your choices. Do you not realize what potential you have within you? Go to college not to marry a doctor or a lawyer, but to become one. Become something. A neurosurgeon, a rocket scientist, anything. Ask yourself who or what at some point in your life made you think that you couldn’t be something more. If someone did, prove them wrong.
Secondly, why are you studying for that exam? I get it, we all want to pass. But is that the only reason? Keep in mind that you are not only studying for that coveted “A,” you are studying for when your knowledge is the only thing between you and your patient. Don’t just memorize information, understand it.
Lastly, you need to figure out who you are doing it for. Besides yourself, are you aiming to make your parents proud? One day, you might need to take care of them how they took care of you for over 20 years. You are the only thing stopping you.
