My Loves,
Someone very important to me once said, "Family is not about blood, it's about bond," and I have never heard anything more true. I can only hope and pray that one day, you will all get to read this letter and understand how much I adore you. Each one of you came to me in different ways. Whether it be by marriage, or by having a common parent, you have made your way into my heart.
I know that I haven't known all of you since you were born, but that only means that I haven't had as much time to love you. We've come from different paths and pasts, but all ended up with each other. My heart is so full when I think about the future, and picturing all the holidays and gatherings with you. I know that I will never have to be alone in any endeavor because my sweet brothers and sisters will all only be a simple phone call away. We have a lot of differences too. Not that differences are a bad thing, but it always gives us something to talk about.
I hope you know that I would do anything for you - teach you everything that I know, give you all that I have, and accept you for all that you are. Whatever path you choose to take in life, I will always support you. Do not hesitate to ask for advice, or for a shoulder to cry on. My heart will be open to you at every hour of the day or night. Nothing you can do or say will ever make me love you less or regret being your sister.
You have taught me to see things from other perspectives, to love people for who they are, to laugh at every given moment, and to do my best in every way possible. For those life lessons, I will always be grateful. God has blessed me with lifelong friends in each of you. Always having someone to turn to or fall back on is so comforting. Know that however many miles may come between us, or how many days apart we spend - you are so loved.
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32
