Dear Boyfriend,

I don't know how else to start this article aside from saying that I love you.

We met at a very hard time in my life, and I had no one to talk to. For some reason, from the moment I met you I knew I could trust you. So when you asked me what was wrong, all it took was one look at you to know you genuinely cared about me, and you barely even knew me.

I was not looking for anything when I had found you, in fact, I did not want to date anyone at all. It's funny how life works—when you don't want to find love, you find it in the most mysterious of ways. I was planning my future, maybe going to Florida for the Disney college exchange program, maybe going away to university a year early, or even just picking up new hobbies. Then when we met, I knew I didn't need to go to another state, school, or take up knitting to have an adventure. I had just found mine.

Thank you for dealing with me every single day. You deal with my embarrassing acts in public, my lame jokes, how I get a craving for one restaurant for a month straight and then we never eat there again. Thank you for listening to me snore in your face each night and dealing with it because you know if you try to move away from me, I will find you, and I will snore on you.

You are the best friend I have ever had, and in any past relationship I have been in I have always had the thought in my mind that we may break up. Now, being with you, that thought never comes to mind. I live each day knowing I will see you after work, and it is one of the greatest gifts that I have received. Every time something funny happens, i go to you first. Every time I see a good meme, you are the first person I send it to.

Every day with you is a blessing, and I will never be able to thank you enough for being in my life. I love you more than anything,
