Dogs have always been “Man’s Best Friend," meaning they have always been there for humans. Many people in the United states have a dog or two in their homes that are more than just an animal they are a part of our families.
Being that child that grows up with that extra family member is amazing and like always having that best friend right there by your side no matter what. Dogs are amazing pets and even better best friends because they don’t talk back. Dogs may not remember all the little things in life but will never forget the big things. They have amazing Long-Term Memory, they will remember that connection you share, how good you are to them, and that last impact you had on their life will never be forgotten.
Dogs will always have your back before you even need them to have it. They will always be there for you, sitting there waiting for you to come home from work/school to just welcome you. They will be the first face you see in the morning and the last before going to bed at night. They will be right at that front door barking no matter who it is because they have your back to protect.
Dogs also can read your emotions like no human can ever do. This will help them know what you are feeling and then help them comfort you in the ways that you need the comfort. Humans can’t just read your emotions like dogs can and this is why they make a better best friend.
Dogs are freaking smart! Many people say that intelligence varies due to the breed of dog but in the end, all dogs are extremely smart. They show us that they understand what we are asking or talking about by just tilting their heads to the side and give us that puppy dog look. They understand the concept of playing catch and many other fun activities dogs enjoy.
You will never eat alone ever again with a dog in the house because they will be sitting right there in front of you begging for food. Yes, this can be very annoying but at least you are not eating dinner all alone. This also shows how much they care for you because they know you are the one that feeds them, so now you are eating without them so they sit and want you to feed them too. It can be very cute on so many other levels.
Dogs will never leave you hanging like humans will do some days. You may get canceled on by humans, but your best friend will always be right there waiting for you to come home. They are always there when you are alone to help you feel less alone and more lovable by that furry crazy little/big pet.
Overall Dogs know how to live life to the fullest and we should learn to take tips from them. They love to sleep, eat and play all day long with no worries or second guessing on life. Dogs are just the most amazing pets and even better best friend. I believe everyone should get or have a dog some point in life.
