There will never be enough time for me to tell you how much I admire your hard work and dedication you have put into our family. You've always been my best friend, my rock, my life long friend.
Thank you, Dad, for always being there for me through thick and thin, I wasn't the easiest child to raise, nor was I the hardest but you never gave up. From coaching me in T-ball to teaching me how to shoot a gun, you never gave up..no matter how aggravated you got. No matter what sport I was playing I always looked up and could spot your face in a crowd. You were always there and you always gave me a lecture even if we won.
For showing me what hard work and dedication will get you in life, never once did our family have to go without. You remind us that if you ever want to make it out in the "real" world you have to put forth an effort and make something of yourself.
Growing up, there was always a lecture for everything. No matter what the circumstance was, whether it was a baseball game or a drama going on at school you always gave me amazing advice...even if I didn't want to hear it. Thank you for that, because even though I hated it, it was something I needed to hear even if you didn't sugar coat it.
Every year we always went on vacations, from Colorado to California and all the way to Virginia. We woke up and left on your time, that could be at nine o'clock in the morning or even five o'clock in the morning. It literally always depended on how rested you were and how far we were traveling. Us kids complained all the time because we ALWAYS had to drive, three kids in a Tahoe loaded down with tons of luggage was not the most comfortable thing in the world. But on the way there, you made it fun. Stopping at historic sites, playing goofy road trip games, and just talking about life itself. You always made the best out of every trip.
Thank you for always being super protective of me, for reminding me that the only people I need to depend on are you and Mom. That no man will ever be good enough for me unless they have an unconditional love with Lord and make something out of their self.
Last but not least thank you for being the best dad a girl could have, for cheering me on not only at extracurricular activities but life itself, for showing me what true love is, but most importantly loving me unconditionally. I love you, Dad.
