Dear friends,
After a year of ignoring homework, crying after exams and struggling with the last $20 in our bank accounts, how could I survive a whole summer without seeing you? We have been through so much. I'll never forget the money you've spotted me to get a crappy lunch on campus or that shot you bought me at the bar to calm me down after a long week. The college years are by far the hardest and the most struggling, but we somehow all make it out just fine. It's because of you guys I have not dropped out of school and became "dumb rich" like Drake said.
Although we will all be working our butts off to become tan, toned and rich this summer, I hope we can still find the time to FaceTime and talk about our crazy nights. May the group chat live on and prosper throughout the summer. We have survived winter break without seeing each other, so what's another three months, right? Wrong. I am going to terribly miss you guys, but I know we will appreciate each other just as much with the distance.
Not only are you guys my college friends, but you have also become my family. Being away from our parents and trying to live independently is something you just can't do without a support system. Thank you for being that for me always. I could have never survived the mental breakdowns and high stress levels without that.
Thank you for convincing me to go out and have a good time instead of studying for that exam. We will never remember the nights we studied or had enough sleep. Thank you for the times you've lent your closet to me when I had to find a last-minute dress for formal. And most importantly, thank you for never judging me and keeping me grounded.
Your hometown friends know your past, your deepest secrets and all of your favorite things. Your college friends see you at your most vulnerable and experience the same exact situation as you. When one of us is down, the squad lifts everybody back up. In just three years, you have become my rock, my support system and some of my best friends.
So, cheers to the summer and to the end of finals week. Although summer break will seem like an eternity, just know that the first week of school will be here quicker than we think. Cheers to the beginning of senior year, the crazy summer nights and the infinite amount of stories we will have to share at the end. Thank you for making the past three years the craziest, the hardest and the best of my college career.
HAGS!
