An Open Letter To All Things Pumpkin Spice

Dear Pumpkin Spice,

Oh, how I’ve waited for your return. It has been a long and daunting 9 months since I last had a taste or smell of your sweet goodness. I have spent much time counting down the hours, minutes, and seconds until I could have you again. Although some people think you are not as good as you sound, I say to hell with them! Especially to those who are against premature pumpkin spicing… I’m calling for pumpkin spice to stay around all year long.

I’m not sure what is my favorite form of pumpkin spice. I love pumpkin spice coffee, doughnuts, cookies, candles, perfumes. I have waited outside of Wawa and Dunkin Donuts to be the very first person in line to get a taste of this year's pumpkin spice. I have already ventured to Bath and Body Works multiple times to stock up on this year's pumpkin spice candles, fragrances, hand sanitizers, lotions, and hand soaps. Pumpkin spice, you are just too good to be true.

My friends and family are worried about me. They think that I am obsessed with pumpkin spice. I simply cannot help it. I can’t imagine a Fall, let alone the world, without pumpkin spice.

Clearly, I am a pumpkin spice addict, because there is no doubt in my mind that the best time of the year is when pumpkin spice is plentiful, and I'm sure that many others can agree with me.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
