"It's my life so it's my choices". You may be right, I mean it is your life. You are in control of your body, brain, and how you choose to use both of those. Say what you want, do what you want, think what you want, and consume whatever your heart desires. Go ahead and do it, as long as you care about no one else but yourself. As long as you are sure no one loves you and cares about you. That's the hard part though, there's probably plenty of people that would bend over backwards to do anything for you, that love you endlessly and are happy that you are in their life. You can do whatever you want, but your actions always have consequences.
I am not saying that you can't live your own life that you want to live without someone else controlling it, I am saying that if you choose to partake in dangerous activities even though that you may thinking "you are doing what you want","it's your life, your problems", and "what you are doing does not affect them" it does.
You are doing what you want? OK, I guess that is good. Are you sure though that it is truly what you want though? Is it really making you happy and does it reflect your character well, with who you are and what you want to be as a person. If it is really what you want to do, and makes you happy then keep doing it. You may be doing what you want, and it may be affecting those around you negatively too, but hey at least your happy. It is all about you, isn't it? I'm all for doing what you want to make yourself happy, but once what I do hurts someone I love, I stop. It's called being a compassionate caring human being.
It's your life and your problems too, so people need to mind their own business. You are so wrong if you believe that. It is not only "your problems" but also the people in your life. If they care about you and you are doing something harmful to yourself, they are going to worry even if you tell them not to worry. They care about you, love you, and want nothing but the best for you. You share your problems with the once you love, and you don't get to choose if you do or don't.
What you are doing could not possibly affect them because they are not the ones directly doing it, right? Wrong again. Actions have consequences. You cause your loved ones extreme worry. If something bad were to happen to you, it will affect them. It will destroy them and it will change them. Think before you do something risky or harmful. What you are doing does affect them and can affect them in ways you could never imagine.
Take care of yourself, and think before you act. You have people that love you that will make you far happier than any bad decision you want to make because "it's your life and you do what you want".
