Dear PC '15 babies,
First of all know that we all love you so much. You all are our future. You all are our pride and joy and we could not be more excited to have you as a part of our chapter. You all are beautiful and wonderful ladies and I cannot wait to see what each and every one of you accomplishes.
Boy, what a week you all have had. You all have endured a long week of recruitment and unpredictable weather. And now you all have finally joined your house, your sisterhood.
This is your chapter, your story, and I am so excited to see how each of your stories plays out. You have the power in your hands to make these next few years some of the most memorable. It is so true that what you get out of sorority life is what you put in, so give everything you have to your chapter because I swear you will regret it later if you don’t.
So enjoy the next four years. Eat there. Craft there. Study there. Laugh there. Cry there. Meet new people there. Make memories there.
Whatever you think sorority life is, throw that idea out the window and prepare to be blown away by how meaningful, scary, crazy, and exciting these next four years are going to be.
I hope you all have more fun than you ever have before with your sisters. I hope we can bring out the best in you. I hope you all make some stupid mistakes that result in some of your fondest memories. I hope you all come to love this chapter and develop a sense of pride when wearing your letters. I hope you all find your home away from home, no matter how far your actual home is, whether it is 10 hours away or 10 minutes away. I hope we help shape you into the lady you were meant to be.
Greek life is one crazy ride that we decide to take, and recruitment just helps us find the right car to hop in.
With so much love,
Your Sister
