Dear boat load of cousins,
Oh the stories and memories we share...I could write a book. Actually, make that two.
Growing up being the youngest cousin, I actually felt insanely lucky. I mean, sure, not always could I be involved in everything you all did, and trust me, I was jealous of that. However, you all showed me as a whole just how important family really is. I always looked up to every single one of you. I wanted to be just like you guys. You all made me excited to grow up, because you were just the coolest of the cool.
I envied how close all of you were, and the way you had each other's backs. It was admirable. From the inside jokes to the reckless memories you all shared, and I got to watch it all unfold. I watched almost every single one of you graduate from high school, move onto college and make all of these accomplishments that I couldn't have been more proud of. Now's my turn to make you proud.
Let me tell you, the things you guys have taught me, I will never forget.
As time went on, we all grew. Finally years later, wiser, and high school graduated, I've gotten to hangout with you all and learn what "adulting" is like. You've given me very useful advice, from boys all the way to credit cards and bills.
We've gotten to create memories that we'll one day look back on, adore, and harbor in our memory for life. How lucky are we to have shared a life time of experiences and milestones together?
Because of you guys, I've survived stomach aching laughter and am halfway there to a full six pack (kidding). What can I say, you're the funniest people I have ever met.
And although we have all grown up (I'm almost there!), some of us in college, engaged, married, and started a family, we all somehow end up making our way back to each other. Were all caught up in our individual lives, but for me, family will always come first. For whatever reason we all meet up for, new memories that are unforgettable are created. From the family trips, to the cookouts and birthday parties, I always always look forward to seeing my favorite people, my cousins.
The best part about having all of you, is that it's almost like I've got about 10 brothers and sisters always looking out for me. I am one lucky girl.
I love you guys. Thank you for everything you've done, and still do.
Xoxo
