Hey babe,
Is it alright for me to call you that today? I know we sometimes say it over text — it gets kind of fuzzy at times.
I noticed you forgot to like my most recent Instagram post, but I'm sure you're just busy.
When you get so busy that you don't even have time to text me back, at least I know you're still there because I can see you watched my Snapchat story.
No worries, we were snapchatting a lot yesterday. However, I was slightly disappointed to see the gold heart emoji disappear from beside your name on my top friends. I am well aware of what that means.
Despite the setback, I still made sure to look my best in every picture sent, which involves moving about the room in search for optimal lighting and countless re-takes. I doubt you realize how much time I actually spend on these endeavors.
I think you appreciate the effort, because you send heart-eyed face emojis all the time. They make me smile.
My texts may sound like a live Twitter feed at times, but you always seem really interested in my life. Responses like "Hahah" and "I knoww" make me feel like you truly care, and I thank you for that.
Despite our daily virtual conversations, I feel like things are starting to flat line. For some odd reason, I have simply been running out of things to fit on a 31-character Snapchat text limit. I think it's time for us to take things to the next level.
I want to talk to you. Like actually talk, face-to-face.
So I'm just going to put it out there; Are you free to FaceTime tonight?
