Nine times out of ten when I'm out and using my phone I tend to be doing more harm than good (i.e.: overly enthusiastic Instagram comments…121 second snap stories). However, now that Uber has come to campus I can finally put my phone to good use.
Now, I understand Uber basically goes against everything I was taught as a child – don't get in a car with a stranger, but for real these people have quickly become my guardian angels. I'd like to take this time to give a huge S/O to Uber drivers.
Y'all have tolerated more in one ride with my friends than any normal person should have to deal with in a lifetime. Thank you for always being there for me whenever I fall (literally). Thank you for always being just a click of a button away.
To my Uber driver that got mad at me for being 15 minutes late to come outside from the function last week – thank you for being so gullible and believing me when I convinced you that the app said your car was a different color and I was just lost finishing my drink.
Thank you for driving us to a gas station to get more supplies on the way to the pregame...
Thanks for always being such a good listener… even against your own will.
To my Uber driver that picked me up from the tailgate lot – and gave me a bottle of water [you the real MVP].
Thanks for letting 9 of us cram into your Honda Civic.
Thank you for letting me set my form of payment to PayPal. (Sorry mom.) #blessed
To my Uber driver that took me through Cook Out, I'm gonna go with a thanks, but no thanks on that one. I definitely didn't need that tray at 2 a.m. with a quesadilla, burger and chicken nuggets a week before spring break, but I appreciate the effort for sure.
In addition to thanking y'all that just so happens to be exaaaactly where I need you to be at the right time, I'd also like to say sorry to my friends. Sorry for all the nights I randomly disappeared and you thought I was dead but really took an Uber home somewhere.
