Big Sis,
This letter is for you and you alone. The amount of time it took to finally perfect this Big/Little "thing" took almost an eternity, but I think I can speak for both of us when I say that we're both thrilled it's finally official. I know that we're both busy with our own lives, and we don't talk as much as we should, but I just want you to know that I am here whenever you need me, and I hope you can say the same.
Your time in college is running out, and mine is just starting to take root. Pretty soon, you're gonna be in the real world, and I am still going to be in college, hopefully with a Little, or Littles, one day to call my own. Don't worry, my Little is going to be as awesome and as lively as me, because let's be honest, if they weren't awesome and lively, are they really in our family lineage? I am pretty sure being a GBig won't bother you, but I would still like to reiterate that you're getting old. You shouldn't be worried though, because for some odd reason, you age like an expensive bottle of wine, and it's quite confusing.
The last couple semesters of your college career will be interesting. I know I will always be a baby in your eyes, but I am hoping you can take a piece of advice from your so called "little baby." All I am asking is for you to enjoy the time you have left. It's really depressing to think that both my Big Brother and Big Sister are graduating within the next year, but it's an unfortunate and sad truth I have to face sooner or later. Live it up, have fun and try not to forget that the real world can wait an extra night or two.
There are a couple things I have on my mind. In the past, we saw each other almost every other day. As time progresses, I know I am probably going to see less and less of you. As sad as this sounds, I have learned to accept it. This makes me really appreciate all the times I actually do get to see you and catch up on both of our incredibly busy lives. Also, I know you said that you think the banner you made me was complete crap, but I just want you to know, it's probably one of the best things anybody has ever given me, mostly because I never expected you to make me one. Plus, the fact I somehow got it to fit in my really cramped apartment is fairly impressive.
To be honest, I don't know if you'll ever get to read this letter. If you do, I just want you to know this — as Big/Little, we aren't as close as we should be, but we definitely do need each other. I want you to know that it genuinely kills me that I don't see you that often anymore, but as I said before, I've learned to accept it. I just hope that whatever I am doing, I am making you proud. I'll always be here for you, as I am just a text message away.
Love You Always,
Your Little Bro
