To all those who have never left me, you know who you are.
Dear you,
I simply want to start off by saying thank you. Thank you for never leaving my side. Thank you for being who you are.
You have seen me through my good times and my bad times. We have had so many moments together and each of them are saved deeply in my heart.
You have seen me cry, laugh, scream and surprisingly you are still around.
Never have you doubted me or have you left me hanging in the times I have needed you the most, even if it was something as simple as not being able to connect to the WiFi or crying because I was too homesick to function.
As a young adult, sometimes things get a little rough and often times I do not quite know how to solve problems on my own or answer difficult questions, but you have always been there to guide me.
Thank you for all those hours of endless conversation filled with support and guidance and for always telling me that I am going to be okay. You always know exactly what to say to calm me down or to simply put a smile on my face.
I know sometimes you may become frustrated at me for not listening or for acting too immature, but just know that all your advice and words of wisdom are always deep down in my heart and mind.
You are a person full of love, compassion and care for others, and always seem to be putting others before you, but I want you to know that I am always here to listen.
A person like yourself is hard to find in this crazy world and that is why I am incredibly grateful to have someone like you in my life.They say people always come into your life to make you better and you have done just that, made me better.
You have been in my life for years, months or maybe even days, but I value you just the same as if I knew you a lifetime.
Please know that I will be by your side at all times as well, and if you ever need an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on, you know where to find me.
No matter if you're far away or are living in the room beside me, I always want you to know that I will always be thankful for a person like you in my life.
