To the Girl Who Stole my Heart,
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says:
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.' What more can I say. You took my heart from the day we first talked. You were my best friend. The saying "you'll marry your best friend" is true. I hope to marry you one day. I pray to God that it will happen. You said it yourself, "if we're meant to be, it'll happen."
I believe that quote with my whole heart. You haven't had the best of luck with guys, I get that. However, not every guy is bad. Most of them are good. There's been fights, and there's been heartbreak. But there's been a mended heart. My heart (or what's left of it) is in your possession. All I've ever wanted was to be loved. That's all I've ever needed. I dream of the day we're together forever. I don't want anyone else. No one else compares. When you're young, love stinks. Especially when you and I want the same things, but we have different ways of attaining them. That doesn't matter. As long as you and I are together, it'll all be okay.
I would like to use this as an example for everyone out there. Everyone who is single, in a relationship, etc. You may think you will never find the one or the one you're with isn't the one. That may or may not be true. Everyone finds the one. But don't give up on someone you're with because of little things like arguments or disagreements. Talk it out. Cry, hug, kiss, stay silent. You do you. However you CONSTRUCTIVELY handle things, do that. She might be mad because you stayed out too late, or because you looked at another girl, or because you and her weren't dating and you misinterpreted and screwed up. Forget all of that.
Remember the A.M.L.F. (Apologize, Make Up, Listen, Forget.) these things happen. Remember, you're binded by love. Remember how to make her smile. Remember how to keep her happy. But most of all, remember to love her.
