Dear Littles,

Yes, littles. Firstly I want you to know that you are each such beautiful, unique, and amazing women who have touched my life more than you'll ever know. I realize we haven't met each other yet, but I already fantasize about all of the amazing memories we're going to share together. I have no idea if you'll be twins, triplets, heck there may even end up being five of you, lovelies, but I want you to realize our family will have come together for a reason. Please be patient with me, in the begging I may be too overpowering or maybe seem like I'm not trying enough, but I promise I am. Growing up I never had the chance to be the big sister, my biological family is a clustered mess and frankly, my sisters are some of the truest and closest family I have- that's why I have decided to have each of you under my wing. The big sister is the mentor sister, and I hope to become the greatest mentor you could've asked for. I want to show you the ropes, teach you the secrets of our chapter, and learn something special from each of you because I know I will. You are each charming, funny, intelligent women who each have a special gift inside your soul. I want to be by your side as you discover these gifts and share them with the world, I don't want you to feel as if you're all alone. That's also why you're going to me by littles, you deserve to always have someone there. My boyfriend and I can sometimes become too inseparable and I never want you to feel second best to him. I want you to have each other whenever I can't be there, whether it's due to work, class, or even studying abroad, I want you to have the best possible time within our sorority. You are all important to me even though they may be in very different ways, and you'll need to be able to support each other especially whenever I leave. There will come a time where I'll be graduating and leaving you to fend for yourselves, and I hope by then you'll have littles of your own who devour all of your old shirts and buttons. You are going to become some of the most important people in my entire life, you're going to change my world and views forever. I cannot thank you enough for coming into my life and showing me how exciting life can truly be. You are some of my greatest blessings, and I can only hope you'll feel the same. I'm looking forward to the late night Cookout runs, and endless weekends filled with ice cream and sappy movie, the days turned into all-nighters prepping for finals week. I'm looking forward to getting to know and love each of you beautiful littles.

Love Always,

Biggie. <3

"I've only slept nine hours over the past four days, so I'm right on the verge of a nervous breakdown." - Leslie Knope

Parks and Recreation excitedly gathered around a laptop at a table in an office setting.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

1. When you've finally found the energy to leave your dorm room and walk into the lib like

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
