If One Tree Hill Characters Were College Majors
Life and Style

One Tree Hill is a series that so many people have fallen in love with; the ongoing story that teaches its viewers life-lessons and the true value of life. As the characters, we all fell in love with, grow up, some go to college and some do not. However, if they did go to college these would be their majors.

1. Lucas Scott - English/Journalism

Lucas Scott has a way with words, which doesn't help when he looks that good. Lucas was big into playing basketball, although he had a heart condition that eventually caused him to stop playing. This is when Lucas began to write, and by the end of the series, Lucas Scott actually writes a book.

2. Haley James - Psychology

The sweet, loving, and caring Haley James Scott would most likely be the person that would listen to your problems and help you in any way possible. She's smart and, although she has her own problems, she always puts others before herself. On the side, Haley would minor in music because while on tour with Chris Keller, she was amazing.

3. Brooke Davis - Business

Brooke is sophisticated, friendly, and almost always has her shit together. As Brooke grows up, she matures and ends up chasing her dreams in fashion. No matter what field, Brooke Davis would be the perfect business partner.

4. Nathan Scott - Physical Therapy

Nathan is the popular, buff jock; the one that every girl wishes they had. He is an all-star on the basketball court and works well under pressure. During the show, Nathan ends up in a wheelchair due to a fight and is out of basketball and basically loses himself in depression. After his injury, it wouldn't surprise me if he studied physical therapy to help athletes like himself get back on the playing grounds. He would also continue his basketball career in college, maybe even winning another championship.

5. Peyton Sawyer - Art

Peyton is a strong-willed girl who went through hell and back during her lifetime. Her adoptive mother died in a car accident. Her biological mom dies from cancer shortly after they reconnect, and her dad is always gone. Peyton uses pencils and sketchpads as a place to find herself and express her emotions. Her entire room is filled with artwork that represents different instances in her life. Peyton's artwork would definitely be hung up around campus.

6. Mouth - Communications

Mouth is super sweet and nerdy. His passion is in spreading information to others through news media and talk shows. He's already a professional at the technical aspects. so he would excel in this major. Maybe, we would even see him on the Today Show or Good Morning America.

7. Quinn James - Education

Quinn would be a perfect teacher. She is great with kids - Logan and Jamie - and enjoys helping others. During the show, Quinn helps Clay with his mental problems and is constantly supporting Haley through everything. She encourages those close to her to work hard and she's always there when someone is in need.

8. Alex Dupre - Screenwriting/Playwriting

Alex is a smart, ditzy, pretty girl who also likes to write. She teams up with Julian in efforts to get her movie she wrote, produced. While in college, Alex would definitely be in a sorority and constantly go out and party with her friends.

Every 'One Tree Hill' character has a special and unique talent, and if they attended college, they would all follow their dreams in these awesome fields!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
