The 2000’s brought many great artists who introduced us to catchy tunes and fun new dance moves. Unfortunately, not all of those artists are still relevant today; they just became one hit wonders. A one hit wonder is a band, group or person who makes a song that is a sensational hit but fails to remain famous and in the spotlight. Though the band, group or person continues to make music after their big hit, their relevancy isn’t the same. Sooner rather than later, you’ll wonder what happened to the artist(s) and if they wandered into the abyss. Thankfully, we have websites and apps)such as YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, etc. to listen to and reminisce about. I gathered a list of various hit songs from the 2000’s that (hopefully) many of us enjoyed and listened to.
