As a kid, remember when your parents would take you to the zoo or the aquarium, and you would see all kinds of different animals from all across the world? The only thing that stood between you and a tank full of water and exotic fish, was a glass wall and if you are anything like the typical toddler, you probably tapped it a million times desperately trying to get them to swim your way. You were amazed by their colors, and shapes, but maybe you as you got older you started to realize just how sad of a life the animals at the zoo or aquarium lived.
But you know what is even sadder? They can't even live in their own natural habitat, because of us. Second by second, humans are destroying everything around us. If we keep it up, soon there won't be anything left. One day, the Earth will be a huge landfill, and poor Wall-E is going to be the only one left to dig through it and clean it up.

According to The World Economic Forum, by the year 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean. That's crazy!
The World's Economic Forum's mission is to improve the state of the world, but they obviously can't do it all by themselves. We all come in contact with plastic at some point in our lives, if not every single day.

According to WEF, the reuse rate of plastic compared to other materials such as paper is incredibly low! So the solution to this problem is quite simple. I think we just are too lazy to change our habits, and selfish to see the harm we are causing. Please encourage others around you to recycle, and recycle yourself. We can solve this problem!
