With the release of his new album "Purpose," Justin Bieber has made this miraculous comeback! But with this comeback came more fame than ever, and so many people in social media now are talking all about this album, and it is the most agitating thing in the world. And why is it agitating, you may ask? Well, let me start by saying that since Justin posted his very first video on YouTube, I have been a "Belieber," and I have taken a lot of hate for actually liking him. Now, all these once-haters of the Biebs are now posting like crazy how much they love his album and how they are finding him more and more attractive. It's sickening.
People are now jumping on the Justin Bieber bandwagon that used to talk so badly of him, some calling him a girl, trashing his look, and so much more. I understand that people can like his music, and believe me, I am enjoying all the men who are now adding this album to their playlist, but you may not call yourself a Belieber if you just like his recent album.
What it means to be a Belieber, or any dedicated fan of something, is to have stuck true to the organization or person since the beginning. You can't just jump on the bandwagon because you feel like it. Being a Belieber, for example, means that you stuck by him when he released his song "One Time," when he had the famous shaggy hair and baby face. It was buying all the shirts you could to show that you were his "number one fan" and going to his concert with your mom and saying that was the best night of your life. Then going to college and writing a college paper on being a Justin Bieber fan. That it what it means to be a true Belieber.
I am thrilled that people are finally seeing Justin's true talent, don't get me wrong. I am loving that he is finally getting the recognition he deserves. I just am really annoyed with people calling themselves Beliebers, when a year ago they were trash-talking him to end because his music was "dumb" or he sounded "girly." Everyone has to grow up—Justin was 13 when he signed with Raymond Braun Media Group. He released his first album, "My World," he was an early teen and got constant ridicule for his "girly voice." Yet, when I think back to being 13, every guy had a high-pitched squeaky voice. He has single-handedly done more in his life than the majority of the 21 population will ever do. He has released four albums which have been unbelievably successful.
Justin deserves this time. He has worked extremely hard to have this success, and yeah sure, he has had some really bad publicity about him. But you can't deny him of his talent. He knows how to create a really amazing music, how to put on a really good show, how to dance and entertain in his music videos, and how to win the hearts of millions of girls. I will always have a soft spot for the man who stole my heart with music in 2007.
