Before I moved to Indianapolis it was one of my favorite places to visit and I couldn’t get enough of what I felt then was a big city. Don’t get me wrong, it is a big city but my heart still desires the streets of NYC more than it probably should. Indy is one of the most gorgeous places I have been before. I am amazed everyday at the opportunities and exciting things that it consistently has going on all around me.
When I first chose IUPUI as my college I heard lots of comments of it not being a real college campus due to its location but little do they know that it’s the greatest college campus. My campus is the city, which means my opportunities are limitless and my connections to be made are plenty. My teachers are friends with my future bosses and have the ability to get me in contact with those people. My supply of internships and volunteer work is unlimited. I am lucky and so blessed to be in the great city of Indianapolis.
My city has something going on every weekend and new place to always try. It has gorgeous buildings and parks and everything someone can desire right in their backyard. I am in love with the canal, in love with the people and most importantly am forever grateful that I have this opportunity. So thank you Indianapolis for being the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
