If you read my last article, you know that I have seen the entirety of How I Met Your Mother four times. During the third go-round, I decided to make a list of my favorite episodes, and today I thought, "Why not make that into an article?" So I did.
10. S7e3: Ducky Tie
This episode offers a glimpse into the terrifyingly convoluted mind of Barney Stinson, everyone's favorite character. Also included is the state of Ted and Victoria's ~relationship~ at the time, which I don't really care about.
9. S8e20: The Time Travelers
Spoiler: the entire episode takes place in the mind of Ted Mosby, and that is a beautiful thing.
8. S5e12: Girls vs. Suits
Any time Neil Patrick Harris shows off his Broadway side, we shall all rejoice. It's a pretty solid episode, too.
7. S4e2: The Best Burger in New York
I don't know if it's just because I really, really love burgers, but this episode stands out to me. It's the anthem of any small town kid moving to the big city.
6. S9e11: Bedtime Stories
Which episode enchanted all viewers at the time? The one in which Marshall tells stories in rhyme! (That was so lame. I am sorry.)
5. S7e9: Disaster Averted
"There's no way of knowing for sure where the safest place is, so the best you can hope for is to have some good company." -Ted Evelyn Mosby
4. S7e15: The Burning Beekeeper
This unique episode allows the story to unfold room by room, each bit ending with a screaming human fireball disrupting the scene.
3. S6e4: Subway Wars
The most exciting TV episode about various methods of transportation ever.
2. S8e22: The Bro Mitzvah
If you've seen it, you understand.
1. S2e15: Lucky Penny
An illustration of how each decision we make affects the future. Also Barney runs a marathon, Ted goes to court, and Marshall give impassioned pep talks to the man in the mirror.
