Why I Am Obsessed With Kanye West

There are a million reasons why, but it's hard to just pick one.

Kanye is a God. Need I say more?

So either you opened this article up because 1) you love me and want to read this, 2) you want to see my reasoning behind my obsession, or 3) you love Kanye, too.

Why do we as a generation gravitate towards someone as selfish as Kanye West? I can't really think of an answer other than, "Why not?"

I am in love with Kanye and his ability to captivate audiences and an entire generation is beyond incredible to me.

His Pablo Tour is taking over the nation and slaying the lives of all that attend. If you're fortunate enough to attend one or more than one of his concerts, then you have seen God in the flesh.

I don't think I've ever been obsessed with an artist as much as I have been obsessed with Kanye West.

His designer skills are controversial because they are just ripped up sweatshirts and cut up jeans, but honestly, they are desired by everyone.

Everyone wants Yeezy. Yeezy is a God. How many times can I repeat that?

And he's married to Kim K, changed her closet for the better. God Bless you, Kanye West.

His lyrics are controversial. "I made that bitch famous," and "Yeah I'm mad he hit it first /only problem is I'm rich," which are both from "The Life of Pablo," his recent work of art. But let's not forget his old music. "Jesus Walks" has changed this generation (if you haven't heard it, go listen to it, it's indescribable.)

Kanye is an asshole, his personality is the type of guy that you would never talk to at a party because he thinks he's the greatest thing. Hell, Kanye believes he's the greatest thing in the entire world. Sometimes he is, sometimes he's not, but honestly we love him either way. People love jerks. People love arrogant stars and he is the epitome of this.

He has done some outrageous things, like interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMA's in 2009 and talking about freezing himself so he can live forever. Honestly, when I think about that, I can't help but laugh.

His collaboration with Adidas has changed the street style game forever. He has CHANGED the fashion game forever and has changed the way celebrities and rappers dress for everyday lifestyle.

Basically, Kanye understands and accepts the creative community.

I can't explain to you why I am obsessed with Kanye, but I love him as much as Kanye loves Kanye.
