Don't Rush the Coming of Jesus

There Are Many Unsaved And Lost Souls That Need To Hear The Gospel Of Jesus Christ Before They Stand Before The Judgement Seat of Christ

Many today are anxious for Jesus Christ to return, including myself. I'm guilty of being eager for Jesus to return and judge the world in righteousness, while looking forward to the promise of spending eternal life with him. When Jesus returns he will gather his Born-Again saints who obeyed the gospel from all the corners of the earth, destroy all the wickedness upon the earth, and cast Satan, the false prophet, and every sinner who haven't been washed in the blood of Jesus into the lake of fire.

However, though we are awaiting the return of Christ, we are not truly thinking about the souls who are NOT saved! Awaiting to see our savior return while there are millions of humans dying and living a life without without Jesus Christ is something that we should truly be thinking hard upon. We should be spreading and preaching the gospel to every creature on earth so they have a decision to accept the gospel and obey it. We have family members, friends, co-workers, and even enemies who are destined to spend eternity burning and rotting in Hell. So ultimately, by desiring and praying for Jesus to come only benefits us Born-Again believers, and not those who are without Christ, which is selfish. We should be utilizing that time that we spend anxiously awaiting for Jesus to return by preaching to the lost and winning souls for the kingdom!

Though many of us have witnessed to people and they've rejected the gospel, we MUST continue praying for them because Hell is not a place that anyone would want to spend eternity in. Satan has blinded many into believing that there isn't any-type of eternal torment, that's the reason why many bluntly reject the gospel and don't take it seriously. If Jesus returns in their ignorance, and unbelief they will be cast into the Lake of Fire and be tormented for eternity; while regretting not serving Jesus Christ with everything they had in their earthly life. Jesus described Hell in Mark 9:44-48as a place " Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

However, even though Jesus described Hell as being a horrific place, it's not only a place where many sinners are going, but also many Christians who didn't obey the gospel are heading to the Lake of Fire as well. Amos 5:18 states "Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! Why would you have the day of the LORD? It is darkness, and not light."

Though we know Jesus Christ is coming back many Christians who haven't been Born-Again are awaiting that glorious day like it will benefit them. Many haven't been baptized in the NAME of Jesus and many haven't received the Holy Ghost, but they're waiting for Jesus to come back as if they'll be on the Lords side when he returns.

Revelations 20:15 which states "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." This doesn't go for sinners who don't have a relationship with Jesus, but also for Christians who've heard about the truth on how to obey the gospel but refused to obey it. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 states "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Unless we've obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ we shouldn't be awaiting "anxiously" for his return if we're not prepared for it because it will certainly not benefit us at all. It's God's will that NO man should perish, but we have a free-will to decide if we want to perish or not. There should be a time when we examine ourselves and ensure that we are ready to meet the Lord on judgement day.

Personally for myself, Hell is a place that I'm scared of and makes me fear daily. That's why I always tell individuals that it doesn't matter if you can prophecy, speak in tongues, or display gifts of the spirit because the Bible says in Romans 11:29 "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." Which means that just because God may be using you on earth doesn't mean that you'll have entrance into the kingdom of God. That's honestly a scary thing to believe you're on your way to heaven to actually not be.

Even though both sinners, and those who haven't obeyed the gospel will be receiving the wrath of God, there is a way to escape it and that is through obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ and being Born-Again according to the Bible. A man MUST be baptized in the NAME of Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Spirit or else he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5 states "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." So are you Born-Again, and ready to meet God?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
