I was told awhile back about this makeup brand that is really pretty cheap, cruelty free, and yet still manages to do an amazing job. I had to try this brand. It was NYX Cosmetics. And ever since, I am sold on almost every product I buy.
Soft Matte Lip Cream
This was the first Product I bought from NYX. I bought one, and it was Copenhagen. I adored it. It lasted quite awhile, dried matte and the color wasn't anything far from my lip color but I could tell it had amazing pigmentation. I have also seen what my friends have had from this line and they always looked amazing. But just like any liquid lipstick it does come off a bit easier when drinking or eating.
Lip Lingerie
This was my second purchase from NYX after being so astounded by their Soft Matte Lip cream. So I tried Corset in their Lip Lingerie Line. I then loved that as it stayed on much longer, better, and was a nice soft color yet did a tremendous amount for my lips. It does tend to get a bit dry throughout its wear. Just do a lip scrub and it helps. I then ended up getting the NYX Advent Calendar with little samples of all current colors of the Lip Lingerie line and then eye shadows as well. Just recently NYX has released 12 new colors.
Liquid Suede Lip Cream
The Liquid Suede Lip Cream was another purchase of mine after seeing the beautiful colors on Pintrest and having it spark my curiousity. I bought these in Vintage, Soft Spoken, Sandstorm, and Cherry Skies. I love the color these provide, but they do not stay on very well at all. It also does kind of have a funny smell but doesn't have a taste. I still use these more often than not due to the amazing pigmentation, but be prepared to keep reapplying.
Wonderstick
Alright. So I never had contoured or anything before buying this product. So I took a few YouTube classes to learn what to do, and then it took a few tries but oh my god. I loved it. And so did many beauty bloggers. I had gotten this in medium since it was all target had left, and it works well enough for me. Use a beauty blender and bam. You have a very light contoured face for basic everyday wear!
More To Love Mascara
This mascara was on par with most other mascaras I have used. I decided to try it when it was on sale at target. It only took a few swipes to apply the amount I like compared to some other brands though which made it favorable for me!
I look forward to trying more from NYX in the future (when I decide to spend money on more makeup...) and add to my list of makeup I would love to recommend to others!
