In recent years, Pinterest has become a multifaceted platform for women and men to enjoy. A large portion of it being ”pinspiration” or lifestyle inspiration for better, encourages users to live a more positive life. (Something we can all use a heavy dose of from time to time).
I, myself, am an avid Pinner and a compulsive quote hoarder because sometimes I just need a little reminder of what I am doing right and that everything will work out.
Here are my recent finds to encourage myself during the year. Hope you enjoy them just as much as I do!No one said it has to be January and a New Years Resolution for you to change up your life. Reflect on what’s going on, keep the positive, keep the joy and keep in mind what you want out of your time. DUMP THE REST. Prioritize your goals, and you. Life is crazy and we often put ourselves at the bottom of our to-do lists, but this crazy life should be more about all of us being healthy and happy.
To make any of the changes from one you need to start each morning with your new mindset. Be fierce, be strong, kick ass. You are only going to accomplish those goals with some determination, and some kindness to others. Not only is it the right thing and good karma, but know everyone else is in the same boat as you trying to turn it in a new, better direction.
Commend yourself. Do not put yourself (or anyone else) down. If you are working hard in life, then you have found yourself in the strong women category; whether you are working a job or two, making your way through school, raising kids, or whatever. The world keeps spinning because of the incredible women we have in it. Recognize who they are in your life. Decide how you want to emulate them, and live it out to the fullest. That is the only way we can keep it up for our daughters and granddaughters to have their own special place.
Nothing can stop you. You are a strong force. Whatever has knocked you down, or made you step back, know that you have not been beaten. Drink that coffee, get pumped with your Bun -B or Biggie, and face it again. Your efforts will be recognized by people you didn't even know were watching.
This is deliberately at the end of this list. Everyone is super motivated in the beginning, but it is along the journey that can cause your drive to dissipate and become a problem. Remember why you started. Keep trying so you can reach that goal, prove people wrong and help others. Don’t let hardships negatively affect your dreams, they are going to be there, but will not be unbreakable. Remembering your reasoning, is the most powerful thing to push you. Keep it close to you and stay willing to work hard.
