Seriously, this is not a review, I just love TV shows.

Not A Review: "Stranger Things"
Sarah Gless/Nelson Cash

"Stranger Things" is an original Netflix series, and a good one. Normally, I don't enjoy the Netflix originals but with this, I was pleasantly surprised. This isn't a review, if that's what you're thinking, I don't know a thing about reviews. I just think Stranger Things was great show with too little episodes, that being said, I can't wait for season two!

Being a person who loves all things supernatural and spooky, this show was right up my alley. The show was so good that I kept watching straight through to the end -- twice! The seriousness and mystery in the series drew me in and I think the acting of Winona Ryder was marvelous, and a key factor in my fascination with the show. With Stranger Things being inspired by Steven Spielberg, Stephen King and John Carpenter, my heart soared sky high. The men that created fantastic storylines were the muse to this amazing show.

The reasons why Stranger Things freakin' awesome is for many reasons and some of those reasons, you might go "girl, really? it's a TV show," yes but a freakin' amazing TV show. The season was only eight episodes! Short and sweet was the way to go (still with there were more episodes), but the ending ripped my heart out and shattered to pieces but it also made me question what will come in season two. Will we see Eleven again?? Who knows? What also comes to mind when I watch this show is American Horror Story, will this be a similar layout with the same characters every season with a new look? or will it be a new cast every season? I don't know why this goes through my head but it does, haha.

Eleven or El, for short, was probably one of the most bad ass little girls. Making kids pee their pants, and making others levitate after jumping off a cliff. Not to mention, she pulled off that disguise fantastically. I know it's only a dress and one of those ready-to-wear wigs from the halloween store but damn, girl. WORK. Also, in the show you learn the true meaning of friendship, friends don't keep secrets or lie, as they say and you see that Eleven, who has really carried the essence of a real friend, takes one for the team in a serious situation so that they can live safely. That, my friends is true friendship. I'm honestly wondering if we will see her again in later seasons but for now, I can't wait for season two and what it has in store, because we all know I will be binge watching it.

Again, this is not a review, I don't know the first thing about them. This is just my love for "Stranger Things" and everything supernatural. Season two is just around the corner, and who knows, maybe I'll be writing about that too. Hopefully it's just as good as the first.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
