We all know that feeling when everyone's newsfeed on all social media is full of beach pictures and warm weather while we are stuck sitting at home. But hey, going home for spring break has some advantages.

1. You can go to all your favorite places

You have no commitments and you can go anywhere you want -- your favorite restaurants, shops, and all those cute homey places. The possibilities are almost endless.

2. Catch up with yourself

Now, I don't mean go home and talk to yourself, unless that's what you're into, but take of everything you have been meaning to do. You can get your hair and nails done, and attend to all that personal stuff you haven't had time to attend to.

3. Use your own bathroom

This one is self-explanatory and something everyone wants. You have a door that actually locks, and you can take a nice long shower (or even a bath) without shoes. You can have all the privacy you never have in college.

4. Have your favorite food

You can't deny, we all love home cooking. Compare the food our parents cook at home to the food we are served at school, there's no question which we would prefer. Not to mention, you'll get to eat at your favorite restaurants and you won't even have to pay!

5. See your pets

This may be the best part of the whole trip for most of us. We can finally be reunited for our better halves, our pets. You know they are the only ones you can count on to hang with you when you are home for break.

6. Obviously, binge-watch Netflix

Now that the quarter has ended and finals are over. You have a chance to relax and catch up on all your favorite shows and movies and not feel too guilty about -- because what else are you supposed to be doing?

7. See your family

Although this one is an obvious occurrence when you go home, it's always good to see the family. It's great to catch up and hang out with your siblings. Even though you'll be ready to get back to school by the end of the break.
