Nintendo had another blast in the industry when its game console Switch came out last year. I still remember people waiting in lines to get it but they are all sold out, only for pre-order only. I bought its latest release called Labo, which really amazes me. I just feel like I should make a list to tell people how awesome the games I have bought on Switch are and shouldn't be missed.

1. Labo

This is the game that really shakes me. I more than a hundred times praised the intelligence of human brains when I was playing it. Basically, the whole game set is decks of cardboards that will allow you to make different models to adapt the game console. All the instructions are explained very thoroughly through the process, so you don't have to worry you won't make it. All you have to do is be patient and follow what the instructions tell you.

Labo came out with two sets. One is the variety kit which you can make different items such as piano, motorcycle etc. and play with you Switch. The other one is a robot kit which you'll have to connect to your TV and it detects your motion moves to control the robot.

A robot is not my thing so I bought the more girly variety kit. The motorcycle uses the motion detector in the controllers; the little race car uses the camera and vibrating function of the controllers. It's just amazing that these hidden features of the game console can be used so perfectly and precisely to create such wonderful game experiences.

You are not only one playing the game, you are involved in the process of creating the game. Just like the IKEA Effect, we tend to add more values to thing that we made by our own hands. Labo is definitely in that effect loop! Again, I really have to say, this game is more than amazing and you gotta try it!

2. Stardew Valley

This is purely my personal addiction and recommendation for all my girls out there.(probably guys also, but as far as I know around my male friends, they make fun of this game...and I mock them back).

This game is all about rebuilding and flourishing the farm that's left by your long-gone grandfather in the game. I'm so in love with this game is because of my childhood fantasy.

I played the harvest moon on my Gameboy console which is almost the first generation of mobile game consoles when I was 5. I always try to find that game back on modern consoles to kind of relive my childhood again. Now that this more advanced one has come out on Switch, there is no reason I should ignore it and not play it.

In this game, you can do exactly the same thing a farmer does. You also have to interact with people in the valley and trigger the game story plot. This game even allows you to get marry and have babies.

Basically, your life goal is to build relationships with others and find your significant other and become richer and richer to afford your marriage. Isn't that cool? You just create and live another life in the game! Just escape from reality and be this character in the Stardew Valley for a while and you'll love it!

Though I'm not so fond of the visual style of the game because I prefer more 3-D like and more realistic style, it still is my favorite game of all time!

3. L.A. Noire

I'm crazy and paranoid when it comes to mystery, criminal and thriller genre things, I mean really crazy. I can watch these movies for a whole day without even going to the restroom, and I can read these reviews, again and again, to be really understanding the movies.

So, when I knew that there is a game of this genre came out on Switch, you know, I would die to get it and play all day without anyone distracting me!

L.A. Noire matches all my fantasy and hopes about the criminal genre game. And it is also in 3-D and realistic visual style, which I love the most. I just can't help to have put it on my list.

The game is set in the background of Los Angeles in 1940 when crimes swept the city. You are playing a detective to investigate crimes, talk to all the witnesses and solve the crime. You don't only depict these puzzles individually, you go out and interact with others in the open-world that's in the game. You have to be extremely careful and circumspect to make sure you won't be in trouble yourself.

It's not like any other games on Switch and it's definitely the kind of game that you don't wanna miss!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
