1. "Sleepover"
This always classic 2004 RomCom tugs at your heartstrings while you watch young Julie pine after older, attractive Steve. What's more exciting than flip phones, a frozen bra, a dangerous-yet-so-attractive skater boy and a very thrilling scavenger hunt through your favorite mall with your best girlfriends? Absolutely nothing.
2. "Aquamarine"
This movie taught us that sometimes fish are friends, and that it's totally normal to take your mermaid friend out shopping because she has a date with a really hot guy. This movie isn't just about boys though. It looks deeper into the friendship between Claire and Hailey Rogers. It teaches us that no matter what, you'll always have your best friend by your side.
3. "Uptown Girls"
The impact that Ray has on Molly and vice-versa is immaculate, and it will have you reaching for the tissues non-stop. Can we talk about the scene at Coney Island with the teacups? I was crying for weeks after watching that. Besides the sad scenes, the movie is funny, adorable and perfect for a night in with your best friends. Also, Jesse Spencer (Neal) singing "Molly Smiles" and "Sheets of Egyptian Cotton" will have you dancing around your room blasting the old song for days.
4. "Clueless"
Need I say more? If you haven't already seen this movie at least 10 times, are you even a female? You'll find yourself loving Cher's trendy '90s outfits and sayings before the movie is even 20 minutes in. If your plastic surgeon doesn't want you doing any activities that involve balls flying at your nose, you can always pop some popcorn, grab your favorite blanket and snuggle in to watching one of the most amazing and influential movies of our time.
5. "Legally Blonde"
Reese Witherspoon absolutely kicked butt in this movie and had every girl claiming that they could get into Harvard ("What? Like it's hard?") with a video of themselves floating around their pool in a bikini.
6. "The Last Song"
If you're having old Miley withdrawals, this Nicholas Sparks movie is a perfect way to settle your craving. In this movie, we see Ronnie fall for Will against her will (ha, punny). Their relationship is everything any girl has ever and will ever hope for. The drawing on the sneakers? Yes, please. Belting Maroon 5 in a pickup while cruising down dirt roads? Double yes. Even the scene where she's yelling at him, and he just kisses her right in the middle of her rant. It gets me every. single. time.
7. "Bridesmaids"
Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph. There is nothing better than that. You already know this an obvious girls' night in movie, but it had to be on the list, just so people didn't think I forgot about this hilarious comedy that had me laughing until I couldn't breathe.
8. "The To Do List"
In my all time favorite movie, Aubrey Plaza plays an inexperienced high school graduate who is told by her older sister that it's crucial for her to lose her virginity before she gets to college. This movie is set in the '90s, so if the endless sex jokes, awkward sex scenes, and old songs don't pull you in, the outfits most definitely will.
9. "Mean Girls"
Do I really have to explain this one to you? It's a given.
