For as long as I can remember, I've been what my friends and family refer to as "a cryer." I'll admit it myself, I cry in response to most things. Happy or sad, personally relevant or not, I tend to get emotional. While this trait is often annoying, and sometimes embarrassing, I know that I am not alone. So for anybody else who struggles to keep all the feels inside, this list is for you!
You know better than to watch sad movies in any place that isn’t alone in your bedroom. Especially if the movie is a title like "PS I Love You," in which case the door better be locked too.
You manage to cry even at the happiest of occasions. Your second cousin's wedding? BAWLING.
“They just look so happy!”
People that know you don’t even look twice when they see you tearing up, in fact, they almost think it's funny.
Nothing is worse than getting into an argument because you know that you’ll inevitably start crying and all your perfect, witty remarks will be undermined by your inaudible, whiny, crying voice.
You’re very familiar with “ugly crying” and are working on controlling your ugly crying face.
You know that at least once a week you’re gonna have a "good cry" alone in your room, even if you're not that sad. You just gotta let it out.
Sometimes you find yourself tearing up for no reason at all, you just can’t help it.
You constantly feel frustrated because others don't understand why you can't just stop crying. Even worse, when people tell you to stop crying it actually makes you cry harder.
"Don't tell me to stop! It's sad, I can't just stop."
People mistake you for being immature. In reality though, you just care a whole lot about everything and everyone. It’s actually a strength.
To all my fellow cryers out there, don't be ashamed! Be proud that you are a never-ending fountain of emotions, after all Kim K. is one too! Just always remember: we are not dramatic, we are sensitive. It's a good thing.
