Whether you enjoy getting up early or dread your 8ams, college is a time where a student must be flexible with their scheduling and sleep patterns. Because of this, a person who happens to be a nightowl may sometimes have the upperhand when it comes to staying up late to complete assignments. However, sometimes it's a downfall to be the one who would much rather be awake into the early hours of the morning.
Pro: Need to stay up to finish a paper or study for a test you totally forgot about? No problem!
Con: Unless they're bringing you coffee, NO ONE should approach you in the morning. ESPECIALLY if you're on your way to your 8am.
Pro: Obtaining a part-time job is way easier if you're willing to work at night, and there are fewer chances of being scheduled to work during a class time.
Con: There is a 99.9% chance that you will hate yourself toward the end of your shift, or when you get home and try to go to sleep, but can't actually fall asleep because your mind is still racing.
Pro: All-nighters aren't nearly as hard.
Con:Even if you've gotten a decent amount of sleep, it'll probably be 1,000x harder to focus in your early morning classes
Pro:You'll feel like you have more time to get all of your homework, papers, and readings done.
Con: You won't. It's a lie. Sleep will sound so much nicer than that Risk Management paper that's due tomorrow that you definitely haven't started yet.
Pro: You feel like you'll get the absolute most out of your weekend, since you'll get to stay up late and party and do anything you want with all of your extra time.
Con: You'll be so tired from your numerous late-night study sessions and all-nighters that you'll probably fall asleep on your homework.
